If You’ve Got to Eat a Peep, Eat it Mindfully

There is a time and a place for everything—including candy. Easter is one of those times.

The problem with candy, though, is that it’s so exciting and delicious that it is easy to eat too much of it, leaving you feeling a little sick to your stomach and also, likely, a little bad about yourself.

Facing a basket full of Easter candy is a great time for a little mindfulness—doing a simple eating meditation with a Peep (or another favorite Easter candy) is a great way to force yourself to pay attention to how the candy makes you feel. And that will help you decide just how much of you want to it before you’ve eaten it.

In this video I show you how to eat a Peep mindfully. I hope it will inspire you to give it a try!

Well, what did you think? Will you commit to paying attention to the process of eating one whole piece of Easter candy this year? After all, if you can eat a Peep mindfully, you’ll be able to eat anything mindfully!
