There is a time and a place for everything—including candy. Easter is one of those times.
The problem with candy, though, is that it’s so exciting and delicious that it is easy to eat too much of it, leaving you feeling a little sick to your stomach and also, likely, a little bad about yourself.
Facing a basket full of Easter candy is a great time for a little mindfulness—doing a simple eating meditation with a Peep (or another favorite Easter candy) is a great way to force yourself to pay attention to how the candy makes you feel. And that will help you decide just how much of you want to it before you’ve eaten it.
