A Full Yoga Practice in Only 5 Minutes

An hour and a half of yoga feels so good—but so can five minutes of it.

On those days when you don’t have a lot of time but you still want that strong, loose and calm feeling that a full yoga class can provide, here’s a sequence of yoga poses for you.

These seven yoga poses cover all the components of a complete yoga practice—including a standing pose, forward bend, back bend, inversion, twist and rest (with a little down-dog thrown in for good measure, which is practically a full yoga practice in itself). Spend 2-3 breaths in each pose and you’ll be done in five minutes or less. But that good feeling in your bones will last a whole lot longer!

Are you ready to dive into a many more yoga practices, of all lengths? Check out AcaciaTV—we’ve got videos from a number of yogis including Shiva Rea, Kristin McGee, Hemalayaa, and more. You can choose how long you want your workout to be as well as what you want to focus on during your practice, which can be anything from relaxation to working up a sweat!
