The Pre-Breakfast Kitchen Workout

Mornings are hectic! There is so much you have to do to get yourself and the rest of your household out the door with bellies full of breakfast, combed hair and proper attire, and lunches in hand— it’s a tough job but, as they say, somebody’s gotta do it. So what if I challenged you to try to squeeze a kitchen workout in before breakfast?

No, I haven’t lost my mind. I’m totally serious!

Tomorrow, while you’re waiting for the coffee to brew, you can turn your kitchen into your own personal gym and I’m going to show you how to get a fantastic workout done in less than 15 minutes. Trust me, this is one morning “to do” that you can totally manage: and it’s actually really fun too!

The only equipment you need for this is a hard floor surface and 2 dishtowels— you won’t even need shoes. This workout takes up minimal space too, so no worries if you’re working with a tiny kitchen space.

Here are the 7 moves you’ll be doing:

Mountain Climbers

Arm Circles

Hamstring Curls

Side to Side Pushups

Side Lunges

Heel Tap Crunches

Skater Squats

Seriously, doesn’t that look like a blast?!

Now, do each move for 30 seconds, resting for 30 seconds after each move. Once you’ve completed all 7 moves, just start the circuit again.
