Sometimes working out during the holidays can seem a bit, well…complicated. All year long, we’re spoiled with so many fancy new moves (who knew there were more than 20 ways to do a burpee??) with even fancier equipment like this, and this, and this.
And as awesome as it is that fitness has come such a long way in terms of innovation, it’s all almost useless when the holidays roll around when we’re traveling to places where there’s not enough space and no equipment.
Oh no! Guess we’ll just have to live without our workouts for a few days while we’re visiting Grandma…
NOPE, think again! I’ve got a solution for this problem—a workout full of “evergreen” moves that are never out of season and can be done anywhere with absolutely no equipment—just for you.
Here’s what you need to know: it’s just 4 simple and time-tested moves performed countdown-style, which means that you’ll do 25 of each move as quickly as you can while maintaining control and good form, then immediately repeat all moves for 20 reps, then 15 reps, then 10 reps, then 5 reps, resting as needed throughout.
To make sure that you don’t get bored with it, I’ve offered 2 versions of each move so you can always keep it fresh and green for years to come.
