As a trainer, I’d have to say that the statement I hear most frequently during health and fitness conversations is, “I don’t have the time.” Heck, I’ve even said it myself before. The struggle is real.

But I ALWAYS feel better and am far more efficient with the time I do have when I take time for myself —especially when I set aside the time necessary to work out.

I’m a solutions-oriented person so I took this as a challenge. How do we get our cores into shape without spending 30 minutes of time we don’t have focusing on it?

So here it is… a no-equipment, no-excuses, zero-crunches, ab-empowering workout that will whittle your middle in no time flat. Oh yeah, and I dare you to tell me that you can’t find the time to squeeze this 5-minute, micro workout into your schedule.

And the format is super simple:

1st minute: 20 seconds of Tap & Twist, 20 seconds of Boat Pulses, 20 seconds of Rest

2nd minute: 20 seconds of Plank, 20 seconds of Plank Leg Raises, 20 seconds of Rest
