The 12 Must-Do Moves of Christmas

Right about this time every year, I’ve just about had my fill of holiday music. I start out the season happy to hear holiday songs and you’ll usually find me singing along and busting a move or two.

Then, it’s EVERYWHERE…like all the time. Grocery store, television commercials, “on hold” music, office elevators, and on and on and on. Ugh!!

Time to shake things up a bit and refresh some of these old tunes and use them in a more appropriate and fun way.

This year, we’re gonna rewrite The 12 Days of Christmas and turn it into an awesome holiday workout!

Basically, the workout goes just like the song – starting at the 1st day through the 12th day, each day repeating all the days that came before – except instead of getting Ladies Dancing and Gold Rings, you get Kettlebell Swings and Sumo Pulses.

Sounds like a blast, right? Extra points if you sing the song as you go!

Alright, without further ado, here’s the workout:

On the FIRST day of Christmas, my true love gave to me A BURPEE WITH A PUSHUP

On the SECOND day of Christmas, my true love gave to me 2 FRONT RAISES

On the THIRD day of Christmas, my true love gave to me 3 SHOULDER PRESSES

On the FOURTH day of Christmas, my true love gave to me 4 REVERSE FLIES

On the FIFTH day of Christmas, my true love gave to me 5 SUMO PULSES

On the SIXTH day of Christmas, my true love gave to me 6 BICEP CURLS

On the SEVENTH day of Christmas, my true love gave to me 7 JUMPING JACKS

On the EIGHTH day of Christmas, my true love gave to me 8 SQUAT JUMPS

On the NINTH day of Christmas, my true love gave to me 9 KETTLEBELL SWINGS

On the TENTH day of Christmas, my true love gave to me 10 MOUNTAIN CLIMBERS

On the ELEVENTH day of Christmas, my true love gave to me 11 KNEE GRAB CRUNCHES

On the TWELFTH day of Christmas, my true love gave to me 12 REVERSE LUNGES
